Lori Engblom, Therapist, Counselor, MA, LPCC

Lori is trained in a number of therapy approaches, is an active listener, a compassionate communicator and ethical professional. She has worked as a domestic violence advocate, county case manager, behavior analyst and psychotherapist. She will customize her knowledge to fit each individual's need and goal for therapy.

Lori uses the technique Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is shown to reduce the symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). EMDR can be used to resolve other problematic negative thought patterns as well. You can learn more about EMDR at https://www.emdria.org/about-emdr-therapy/

Lori believes in pushing up against the mental health stigma and normalizing therapy as the neutral source of support for your life struggles. If you're tired of feeling like you're not good enough give her a call!
